The India Leaders for Social Sector (ILSS) and the Koita Foundation established a strategic partnership to launch the Koita Centre for Digital Transformation (KCDT) in February 2025. This pioneering initiative aims to empower social purpose organisations (SPOs) across India to leverage digital technologies for greater impact and to remain relevant in the emerging world.
Through a comprehensive suite of offerings, including the flagship Digital Transformation for Social Impact (DTSI) Program, KCDT equips SPO leaders with the digital knowledge and skills across four key areas.
to support beneficiaries more effectively and productively.
by enabling SPOs to expand their programs' reach and make them more accessible to marginalised communities.
to enhance transparency, accountability, and impact assessment.
within the social purpose.
Digital transformation is no longer a choice but a necessity for the social sector to deliver more efficient, scalable, and impactful solutions. However, most social purpose organisations (SPO) lack the resources, expertise, and strategic support to navigate this journey. The Koita Centre for Digital Transformation (KCDT) was established to bridge this gap. By building digital capacity and enabling access to tools, knowledge, and networks, KCDT empowers SPOs to harness technology meaningfully—improving outcomes, strengthening systems, and ultimately driving greater social impact.
