Each module consists of a fixed number of focused sessions designed to achieve its specific learning objectives.

This module sets the stage for your social sector journey starting with self-discovery and self-awareness. You’ll be led on to explore the complexities of India’s social sector landscape through a systems thinking lens.

This module forms the core knowledge base for your social sector journey. It dives deep into the nuances of the social sector in India, equipping you with the necessary understanding and practical skills to navigate complex challenges.

This module ignites your creativity and equips you with an understanding of approaches and tools for crafting innovative solutions for social transformation.

This module equips you to make your foray into the social sector. You’ll learn valuable communication and networking skills, explore marketing and storytelling strategies for social good, and receive a tailored career roadmap and counselling.

We are now accepting applications for the first cohort of The ILSS Young Leaders Program.

The deadline for the submission of applications is 09 September 2024.

We have a 2-step process. You are first required to submit your application through our website. Following that, you will be invited for an interview. Your candidature will then be reviewed internally and if accepted, you will be notified of the same.

We review applications on a rolling basis and have limited seats; we urge you to apply as soon as possible.

You are eligible to apply for The ILSS Young Leaders Program if you are:

  • 5+ years of professional experience, demonstrating a strong ability to deliver results for their organisation
  • Passionate about challenging the status-quo and driving positive social and economic change in India.
  • Driven by a strong desire to enable economic growth and advance social justice goals.

The Program application will require you to:

Yes, 2 referrals are mandatory. The referees must be people who can comment on your professional experience and motivations. .

  • Candidate profile: The Program is designed for young leaders fulfilling the criteria listed in FAQ 2.
  • Completion of the application form with requisite information submitted.

A clear purpose for why the participant is looking to apply for the Program and what they seek to gain from it.

We don’t encourage deferrals. However, if your situation is found to be unavoidable and genuine, we will follow a fair process. The final call rests with the internal management.

This Program requires a total commitment of approximately 60 hours. This includes a 4-day residential component with mandatory attendance, followed by 4-hour sessions on 8 consecutive Saturdays.

The Program will follow a blended learning format for 9 weeks as follows:

  • Residential sessions at TERI, Gurugram. from 2-5 October 2024.

Followed by 8 weeks of online learning sessions

The 4-hour sessions will be conducted on Saturdays, over the 8 weeks of the online learning component.

INR 75,000 + GST per participant

Once your candidature is confirmed, we will share the bank payment details with you to pay the fee.

Yes. The Program is, however, mapped to weekends as per the Indian Standard Time (IST); so you are expected to manage your schedule to align with the Program sessions.
