Anjali Hegde

After nearly three decades of corporate experience in communications and digital marketing, Anjali transitioned to the development sector and joined Udayan Care, a Delhi-based social purpose organisation dedicated to child rights and strengthening the family through the education of young girls and skilling of the youth. She is currently serving as Executive Director at Udayan Care. Anjali holds an MMS degree from the Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies and is a postgraduate in economics from the M.S. University of Baroda.

Ishmeet Singh

Ishmeet has over 25 years of experience in various prestigious leadership roles with telecom and FMCG companies. He is passionate about growing businesses and leading cross-functional teams to deliver customer value at every touchpoint. Ishmeet successfully transitioned to the development sector and is currently the senior VP and lead at Digital Bharat Collaborative, a part of the Piramal Swasthya that leverages digital technology and governance to enable equitable access to quality healthcare for all. Ishmeet serves on the alumni advisory council at ILSS and is deeply committed to and invested in mentoring upcoming social sector leaders.

Deputy Director & Program Head - Climate Corps, AshokaX

Paridhi Mishra

Paridhi is currently the Deputy Director and Program Head – Climate Corps at AshokaX. She found her passion for environmental impact while working at the intersection of technology & social impact at a cleantech start-up. Her experience in social impact also includes policy making and implementation at the grassroots level. She holds an integrated dual degree in engineering from IIT-BHU.

Sanjay Dhawan

Sanjay Dhawan is a retired professional based out of Bangalore. He has four decades of consulting experience, wherein he held various leadership positions, lived and worked in multiple geographies, supporting clients across industry sectors. His primary focus required him to work with C-Suite and company boards to help enhance their corporate governance framework – which is also a need of the hour for the social sector. Crossing over, Sanjay is now committed to applying his learning to help drive a change in the social sector space.

His association with ILSS began as a cohort of the first ILSS Board Program in January 2022. Since then, he has been associated with ILSS, donning multiple hats and working directly with Anuradha Prasad, CEO, ILSS, and her core team. He currently heads the ILSS Alumni Council.

In his free time, Sanjay is always willing to meet up with people, make new friends and engage in discussions around the startup community, social sector and everything else.

Shantanu Ghosh

Shantanu is an adviser to multiple catalytic social sector organisations, including the Michael and Susan Dell Foundation, ILSS, and Social Venture Partners, as well as a few NGOs engaged in program implementation. He was previously the CEO of Social Finance India, a nonprofit organisation established to serve as a catalytic impact investment intermediary in the social sector. Outside the sector, he is an active angel investor and advisor in technology-driven disruptive businesses. In early 2019, Shantanu decided to move away from a purely commercial career to pursue broader social goals. He was a global business leader and part of the management committee of Genpact throughout its journey from a captive to a premier transformation services and consulting company. He spent the first half of his career in B2C businesses with Unilever and GE Consumer Finance (both in India) and GE India as a functional finance leader (CFO).

Founder and Trustee - Ek Tara

Vinita Saraf

Vinita is the visionary founder and managing trustee at Ek Tara, which designs holistic services for underprivileged communities that are essentially tailored to the needs of children in West Bengal slums. With a commitment to developing the potential of first-generation schoolgoers, Vinita firmly believes that education must go hand-in-hand with empowerment and enhancing self-esteem. Starting with a BSc from Calcutta University and a diploma in interior design from Sheffield School of Design, New York, Vinita forayed into the development space after working for 25 years in other fields. Her unwavering commitment drives Ek Tara’s mission of creating a transformative impact on lives every day.
