India Leaders for Social Sector (ILSS) was honored to host Nobel Laureate Prof. Muhammad Yunus on 2nd July at the Royal Bombay Yacht Club, Mumbai. Prof. Muhammad Yunus, Founder of Grameen Bank and the pioneer of microfinance and microcredit, talked about how corporates, governments and NGOs can channel natural human creativity into social businesses and work towards eliminating wealth concentration and inequality by creating a system that works for all. It was heartening to see so many philanthropists, corporates, CSR professionals, NGO leaders and ILSS alumni attend the event. Prof. Yunus is truly a visionary, whose life is an example of how a small act of trust and kindness could lead to an immense impact.
