India Leaders for Social Sector is a flagship program of Central Square Foundation, in partnership with Indian School of Development Management, which aims at enabling senior leaders from industry transition meaningfully into the social sector.
The idea took shape in Bengaluru, in July, where top leaders of key NGOs in India, distinguished academics and corporate heroes came together to brainstorm on how to design and deliver a program that creates efficient and impactful social leaders. The diverse group discussed how a career in social sector requires learning and unlearning, and how to best facilitate the process. The result was a unique program that combines the classroom with an immersive grassroots experience and prepares the participants to lead and reform India.
Here’s a glimpse into the focus group discussion at Bengaluru.
