Speaker Biog:

Chris Carnie is a philanthropy activist, teacher, and author. Based in Catalonia in Spain, he works with NGOs, foundations, philanthropists, and impact investors. He is the volunteer lead in a project to create the first donor-advised fund in Spain, and is the director of climate emergency charity Terra. He teaches fundraising at the Universities of Barcelona and Santiago de Compostela, as well as running masterclasses and short courses. Chris is the founder of Factary and is a researcher in philanthropy and fundraising. Chris lives in the hills of Catalonia in an increasingly anarchic menagerie of animals, human and non-human.
