He also bootstrapped CouponRani.com, a coupon site in Southeast Asia. Ravi is a mentor at IIMB NSRCEL for social startups, and for the Headstart Investor Circle. He has made 7 angel investments and had 2 successful exits. He has co-authored a book on Web Service Security and holds a patent. Ravi holds an MBA degree from Duke University and is also an Alumnus of IISc and IIM, Bangalore.

Dhaivat Anjaria is a senior professional with experience in insolvency resolution / stressed assets restructuring, transfer pricing and consulting in the financial services and infrastructure sectors. He is a Chartered Accountant and MBA, with over 25 years of professional experience with large organisations including as a senior partner with the Big 4 and the financial services industry. He has been in strategic and operational roles in the development and running of business units, driving their growth and leading teams. With CXO level client and diverse stakeholder interactions, he has a demonstrated record of strong analytical, process management and strategic skills. During his last corporate experience with PwC, Dhaivat successfully led the resolution of a large distressed corporate under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code. He previously also led the financial services transfer pricing offering for the firm in India, prior to which he worked in the financial services and infrastructure space in India and the US.

Ravi joined CRISIL in its initial phase and handled a variety of roles across businesses and functions. The roles included those of credit analyst, CEO of a research subsidiary, COO of global equity research operations and head of human resources and strategy. For a good part of his career, Ravi worked with entities acquired by CRISIL and helped integrate them with CRISIL successfully. He is an alumnus of IIT-Bombay. After CRISIL, he has been engaged in community service activities in his local communities and at his Alma Mater – IIT Bombay.

Krishnakumar Sankaranarayanan

Krishnakumar has 28 years of experience in Indian Healthcare across research,industry and consulting. He started his career with IIT Delhi, where he designed medical equipment for India’s Mass Health Program. He then moved on to work with Hospimedica International – a large medical equipment supplier across sales, marketing and customer support roles for 12 years. Then moving to work with PwC for 12 years as part of their Healthcare team.

He has previously worked for pharmaceuticals, medical devices, health IT, public health and digital health project and continues to pursue these interests in the social sector . Krishnakumar pursued an executive postgraduate program in Management from IIM Calcutta, and his Master’s in Engineering from IIT, Madras.

Maloo Natarajan

Maloo Natarajan from the December 2018 cohort of the ILSS Leadership Program has been named Chairperson of the Mumbai chapter of FICCI FLO.

A banker, entrepreneur and now a social sector professional, Maloo, who is a qualified chartered accountant, has experience across a variety of sectors, geographies and organisations, including Citibank NA and DBS Singapore (where she was Executive Director). She was actively associated with the start-up space in Singapore, including mentoring young entrepreneurs.

She is currently a trustee of an NGO called Soul2Sole that focuses on promoting sports amongst girls. She is associated with Sanctuary Asia and is COO at Roti Bank, which focuses on solving for the hunger problem in our cities. She is also on the advisory board of Meljol, an NGO dedicated to financial literacy.

“The decision to switch from the corporate to the social space is not an easy one and, based on my experience, the ILSS Leadership Program is the best step forward,” says Maloo. “At the end of the nine days, you realise that this is a space which is not in the business of selling hope but hope is what drives it. In this chaotic world, there is no dearth of problems and certainly no dearth of opportunities for those who want to solve them and make this a better place to live in.”

In her new role at FICCI-FLO, Maloo will be driving the organisation’s efforts in the sustainable development space, with a focus on livelihoods, women empowerment and rural initiatives.

“The UN Sustainable Development Goals talks about the need for equality and women empowerment to alleviate poverty, to promote peace and harmony and of course to protect the world,” she says. “We have made a huge progress in this space but have missed opportunities to take bold steps that could impact millions of women who need change rather than a few thousands.

“That is where organisations like FICCI-FLO can play a role in empowering women through dedicated efforts on enhancing policies and focusing on sustainable livelihood in urban, semi-urban and rural sectors in a holistic manner.”
